Spotted at school at just 13 — a chance encounter led to Maisha's first runway walk, and soon after, features in Dar es Salaam Magazine, Tanzania. Now growing her career across Europe, Maisha models with intention — encouraging women to embrace their softness and their strengths.

Vandaag een superleuke shoot gedaan met Maïsha. Als danseres weet ze hoe te bewegen en hoe ze overkomt voor de camera. Maïsha neemt aanwijzingen gemakkelijk over en werkt graag mee met een niet helemaal standaard shoot. De resultaten zijn direct goed, en behalve dat was de shoot ook gezellig. Maïsha is voor mij zeker iemand om nog een keer mee samen te werken.

I had a really fun shoot with Maisha. As a dancer, she knows how to move and how to present herself in front of the camera. Maisha takes direction easily and is happy to collaborate on a shoot that’s not entirely standard. The results were great right away, and on top of that, the shoot was a lot of fun. Maisha is definitely someone I’d love to work with again.
